Ascent Solar Signs Deal with Kirloskar Integrated Technologies

Ascent Solar Technologies, a developer of flexible thin-film solar modules has signed a Strategic Alliance Agreement with Kirloskar Integrated Technologies Limited, India (Kirloskar). Neo Solar Power Raises Cell Capacity to 800 MW

Taiwanese solar cell manufacturer, Neo Solar Power (NSP) announced a capacity expansion plan of 200 megawatts (MW), increasing the company's annual production capacity to 800 MW. The 200 MW expansion should be completed by the end of Q3 or early Q4, according to the company.

Transmission Stalls European Offshore Wind Power

Germany's first offshore wind farm has been built and is now generating electricity. Dozens more wind farms are slated for construction over the next few years – as part of the German government's push to install 10,000 megawatts (MW) offshore wind capacity by 2020.
